Simon Borg Olivier

Yoga Synergy
Simon Borg Olivier was first introduced to yogic breathing techniques (pranayma) and the main bandhas (internal locks) at the age of six, by his father George. At the age of 17, he met a Tibetian Lama who introduced him to the philosophy and practice of Tantric Yoga. In 1985, Simon met his primary teacher Natanga Zhander (Shandor Remete), with whom he studied for two decades. He has also studied with such internationally revered indian teachers as BKS Iyengar, K. Pattabhi Jois and TKV Desikachar.
Since 2007, Simon has been developing his yoga practice and understanding by studying with Master Zhen Hua Yang.
In addition to decades of yoga practice and teaching, Simon has completed a Bachelor of Applied Sience of Physiotherapy, a Bachelor of Sience in Human Biology, Master of Sience in Molecular Biology and more.

Simon is the co-founder and owner of Yoga Synergy and has over 33 years experience teaching yoga, inspiring people all around the world.
Bianca and Simon’s shared passion for yoga has led to the creation of Yoga Synergy daily yoga classes, workshops, teacher training courses and international events.
